DESCRIPTION:

The course aims to familiarize the participant with the concepts associated with the measurements that are performed in the industry as part of the required evaluation of products and adjustment of equipment. The course will also allow the participant to evaluate the suitability of the system used and the necessary changes in case of unsatisfactory results.

OBJECTIVE:

The data obtained from measurement systems is often used to make adjustments to manufacturing processes. It is usual to take some measurements and make a small statistical calculation and compare the results against a standard or specification to determine the required adjustment for a piece of equipment. This course aims to provide participants with a guide to select the procedures required to evaluate the quality of the measurement system and determine its suitability.

Production supervisors, process and quality engineers, line managers, quality inspectors, quality supervisors, production leaders, process operators and in general all those who need to use measurement tools to evaluate the characteristics of the products, when entering the company, in the process and before dispatch.
