DESCRIPTION:

The Six Thinking Hats or Parallel Thinking, is a critical thinking tool that provokes creativity and improves communication and productivity of teams and individuals. It is used primarily in meeting facilitation as a mechanism that maximizes and organizes thinking to improve problem solving and decision making. The difference between a brilliant team and a mediocre team lies not so much in their collective mental abilities, but in how well they can make them work together. By using the Six Thinking Hats, teams learn to separate thinking into 6 different categories. Each category is identified with its own color, metaphorically: “thinking hat.” By wearing and mentally changing hats, you can easily focus and redirect thoughts, conversations and meetings. The Six Thinking Hats help enhance the complete thinking of teams and individuals; When meetings are facilitated with this methodology, they provide a disciplined and orderly process to maintain focus and get to the point. This workshop lasts 12 hours divided into weekly sessions of 4 hours each.
