SMED (Single Minute Exchange of Die) is a structured methodology used to reduce the combined setup and process start-up time. It is a key tool in Lean to reduce waste.
AIM:
At the end of the training, participants will be able to use SMED tools to develop Kaizen events to reduce machine preparation times.
